Team Manager for Substance Misuse Services at HMP Wayland permenant contract 37.5 hours per week.
Mon- thurs 08.00-16.30 Friday 08.00-13.30
Are you looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity that makes a difference?
We are recruiting a Team Manager for our specialist psychosocial substance misuse service within HMP Highpoint. A passionate and skilled team provide tailored interventions to service users who are located within the challenging prison environment. You will work closely with the Service Manager to continue to develop the team and implement a new service model. This service is one of many prison based services across England, therefore the successful candidate will be able to share best practice and support from our services within the Phoenix Futures Group.
Do you have?
- Experience of the substance misuse sector or related field
- Experience of delivering high quality work with service users
- An understanding of the complex issues presented by men entering custody
- A desire to work in collaboration with healthcare, mental health, community agencies and the prison service whilst adhering to security requirements
- A passion for supervision and developing your supervisees
- Willingness to support your Service Manager in leadership, managing the workload & data management

Starting salary of £27,000 with an opportunity to access potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal meaning a potential salary increase of up to £31,750.
