An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to work in our North Lanarkshire service. We are recruiting two full-time Prison Link Workers who will help bring positive change to the lives of individuals being liberated into the North Lanarkshire area.

Phoenix Futures Scotland work in partnership with North Lanarkshire ADP and SPS establishments to support prisoners pre and post liberation. You will be responsible for providing a seamless service which supports individuals into services in the North Lanarkshire community and utilising the wider recovery partnership.

You will be motivated about working with individuals involved in the justice setting and have relevant experience working in this field. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of recovery focused interventions and developing strong partnerships and joint working.  

Applicants should be highly organised and be able to work on their own initiative as well as work effectively within a fast-paced team.  You must also be able to travel across North Lanarkshire and to prison establishments.

You will support prisoners pre and post liberation. You will provide a seamless service which links prisoners into services in the community. Prisoners will be supported prior to release with a responsive package of care and supported into community services in North Lanarkshire. You will be involved in developing this service and building relationships with a range of services across North Lanarkshire and also HMP Addiewell and HMP Shotts in order to improve the continuity of care for individuals leaving custodial settings.
