The Role

As a Sessional worker you will support individuals accessing the residential rehab and throughout their programme. 

You will work within a close team responsible for the implementation, development, and delivery of the core programme so as to ensure that service users’ care plan targets are being met.

You will assist with the co-ordination of the day-to-day delivery and activities of the residents and to facilitate the progress of service users through the programme ensuring eventual transition back to independent living within the community. You will deliver groups and meetings as part of the core TC programme and supporting residents on a one-to-one basis dependent on need.

About You

  • Relevant experience of working in health and social care, ideally within the field of problematic substance use, mental health or another comparable field
  • Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • To be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and be familiar with database management systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understand complex issues presented by people entering abstinence based residential settings
  • Determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support
